We are a small family-owned business that came into existence with the idea of wanting to bring a little bit of light back into our beautiful world, which seems to have been a rather dull place to live in over the past few years. Our little family arrived in this extraordinary country called New Zealand a little over 2 years ago and albeit immigration being a tremendously strenuous task at any time, we personally felt it was particularly hard over the last few years. 

However, having the beauty of Aotearoa all around us, with glow worm caves to explore and hot springs to soak in; bush walks and kauri trees to marvel at; pīwakawakas waking us in the morning and kihikihi wawās serenading us to sleep, we looked into the future with bright eyes and the wish to share this newfound joy and hope for lighter days to come.

The idea was born to create something that shines a light and brings joy into our homes, weather it be through children’s, parent’s, or grandparents’ eyes. Our own two children inspired us to design a light that shines for them during the dark hours of the night and their grandparents love for them, inspired us to create a lit-up photo box that reflects their grandchildren’s’ light for them.

We have many more ideas and never enough hours in a day to realize them all, but we are very excited for what the future holds and hope that we can be a beacon of light, that shines brightly in your home.
